Kyrgyz parliament approved Manas air base denunciation bill with eleven countries
Kyrgyzstan's parliament has approved the termination of agreements with 11 countries on the deployment of Manas airbase, reports a REGNUM correspondent.
The Parliament approved the bill during an extraordinary meeting. According to a REGNUM sources, dissociation from the White House came right upon Kyrgyzstan's president Kurmanbek Bakiyev told BBC that Kyrgyzstan is ready to leave Manas air base, but only if "negotiations would take place in a new format.
Later the press office of the President informed that Bakiyev was misunderstood and air base will be withdrawn.
It is worth mentioning the bill, which terminates agreements with Australia, Denmark, Italy, Spain, South Korea, the Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, Turkey and France, was introduced for consideration by country’s parliament on February, 14, but wasn’t discussed till March, 5.
