Leonid Kuchma could run for president at the next election in the Ukraine
Ukrainian ex-president Leonid Kuchma announced he could run for president at the next election. “We will see”- said he on March, 5 during an international TV linkup Kiev-Moscow-Kishinev-Tbilisi- Yerevan, reports a REGNUM correspondent.
Answering the question whether he would put himself forward as a candidate, Kuchma said: "I have already answered this question. I would agree to a short term”. “First of all, I would like to look at our former life-guardsmen (member of the oprichnina) — how many heart attacks it would be. It is Ukrainian illness — to betray those, with whom, have been working for a long time. We will see”, — assumed Kuchma.
