Hijack of Naftogaz of Ukraine: men in black are trying to strike contracts with Gazprom
Ukrainian Security Service operatives have entered the headquarter of the national energy trader Naftogaz of Ukraine and began seizing documents that may be related to gas transit signed with Russian Gazprom, Naftogaz spokesman Valentyn Zemlyansky told journalists, reports a REGNUM correspondent in Kiev.
These actions may affect the process of execution of transit gas supplying, as well as financial relations between Naftogaz of Ukraine and Gazprom, said he.
On March, 2, the Security Service opened a criminal case upon alleged misappropriation of 6.3 billion cubic meters of transit gas worth over 7.4 billion hryvna (a bit less than $ one billion) by a group of Naftogaz officers.
