Timoshenko urges Europe, that Ukraine needs early presidential elections
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko announced in an interview to Le Monde newspaper, that the country needs early presidential elections. "Early elections are needed, the sooner the better. Elections to be held earlier than scheduled, could lead to political stability”, — said the Prime Minster. Timoshenko underlined the president is seeing her not as a partner but as a rival in the upcoming presidential elections. “I have never betrayed him. This struggle will end not with my destruction, but with his political suicide,” – added Timoshenko.
Besides, Timoshenko named propaganda the statement of her opponents that she made a deal with Moscow Kremlin. "There is no Molotov- Ribbentrop pact with Kremlin ", -underlined she.
