The construction of 14 hotels for Euro-2012 had been ceased in the Ukraine
Today one may talk about high risk in the Ukraine not to finish the construction of eight five-star, two four-star and four three-star hotels, said Viktor Yushchenko, the President of Ukraine at a meeting of the Euro-2012 coordination council on March, 2, reports a REGNUM correspondent in Kiev.
The president drew particular attention to the preparation of stadiums in Kiev and Lvov. There is still no management to control the Lvov stadium's construction. Experts believe that the existing budget of the project is insufficient, said, in particular, the president. As for the Olimpiysky stadium in Kiev, Yushchenko noted the swelling budget and the stadium's non-compliance with the UEFA security standards for holding events like the championship.
As for transport infrastructure, President Yushchenko underlined that there are still problems with the preparation of the airports in Dnepropetrovsk and Lvov.
