Ivan Burgudji set free
Ivan Burgudji, human rights defender of the Autonomous Territorial Unit (ATU) of Gagauzia (Moldova) has been released from the Tushino Interregional Prosecutor Office straight upon conclusion of evidence, the counsel for Burgudji Irina Kapakly said a REGNUM correspondent.
The Moldavian side has absolutely no reason to issue Ivan Burgudji in international arrest warrant. They have had no evidentiary document for it. In fact it is another insinuation of Moldavian authorities. Someone again hunt for Burgudji, underlined Kapakly.
Irina Kapakly, commenting the possible extradition of Burgudji from Russian to Moldova, said it is impossible, because there is an article in the Russian Criminal Code, forbidding extradition of Russian citizens.
