Russia successfully carried out a test of Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran
On February, 25, Russia finished the construction of Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran and successfully carried out a reactor test, said Reza Aghazadeh, the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization.
"Today was one of the most important days for the Iranian nation. We are approaching full exploitation of this plant,''- BBC Russian Service cites Aghazadeh.
Sergei Kiriyenko, the head of the Russian nuclear agency, who was visiting Iran for the occasion declared during the press conference, that Russian specialist will carry out the exploitation of plant’s first block according to an agreement.
Besides, Russia and Iran were planning to sign a contract for the delivery of nuclear fuel during a period of at least 10 years.
